ABOUT ME
I’m Farina. I’m a trained architect, a visual artist, and currently studying to become an aromatherapist. My work supports people in staying grounded in presence and connected to themselves through visual inspiration and sensory awareness.
After several years as a project leader in architecture, I felt the need to explore a direction that allowed more space for personal expression and felt more aligned with my values. I now communicate those values more directly with people, bringing attention to aesthetics, atmosphere, and the subtle shifts that help us feel more at home in ourselves and our surroundings. I’m especially interested in how our environments shape our experience, and how thoughtful changes can influence how we feel and interact.
Since moving to Norway in 2016, nature has been a constant source of grounding. Its quiet rhythms, sounds, and scents led me to study aromatherapy, where I explore how essential oils, derived from plants, can support the nervous system and overall well-being.
Through painting, writing, and scent, I’ve found tools that help me stay present and focused in my daily life and create space for clarity and intention.
I believe that a stronger presence in the now can release fears connected to the past or the future. In turn, this allows us to make choices that feel more authentic in the moment. Whether through creativity, sensory experiences, or everyday routines, my aim is to strengthen a deeper sense of connection to the self, to others, and to the spaces we inhabit.

FARIKOLOR | MY ART PROCESS
My artworks are inspired by emotions, light, and female body shapes.
Each piece is very intimate, emerging as I paint. By painting with my fingers and hands I find a more playful and immediate interaction between my body and the paper. Whether or not I start with a plan, the process, and especially the color palette always takes on its own intuitive dynamic.
Every painting tells a story from the moment of its creation. It relates to my thoughts, emotions and surroundings, consiously and unconsiously. For me, intuitive painting is about letting go of control, allowing the process to unfold. It’s about daring, destroying, and creating something new. It’s about allowing.
ROOT & RESET | MY WELLNESS APPROACH
Root & Reset began as my way to slow down and come back to what feels real. Through painting, bathing, time in nature, regular journaling, and essential oils, I found a different kind of clarity, not by planning harder, but by learning to listen inward, moment by moment. Now, I share that practice with you. I offer the reflections and questions I’m sitting with, along with gentle tools to root into presence and reset into your truth. Small ways to find calm and clarity, even when life feels uncertain.
